The Deseret News gets many thing and has a reasonable opinion on most subjects of interest but they still do not get states rights. Each state has sovereign standing in many matters. The federal goverment of the United States of America oversteps their bounds on a regular basis in many areas from regulation of doctors, substance laws, gun laws, etc. This is one of those areas.
