Death from wood splinter

Actually many deaths have occurred after the tornado in Joplin Mo this year from something as simple as a wood splinter in the skin.  The cause of these deaths is a fungal infection cluster that is common after natural disasters.  The fungal infection soon begins to rot the skin and surrounding tissue and soon kills most people that get it.

Neosporin anyone?

Just to drive the point home the Supreme Pundit has recently added a new movie to the big list.  Splinter.  It is actually well done with a decent plot and not a lot of focus on gore.
